Katy Warrington

Clinical Research Physiotherapist

BSc Physiotherapy

Katy qualified from King’s College London in 2007 with a BSc Physiotherapy. Since qualifying she has spent most of her time within private practices, specialising within orthopaedics. Katy joined London Bridge Hospital in 2010 and took on the Inpatient Clinical Lead role in 2012 as maternity cover before taking on the role permanently at the end of 2013. Since that time the team has grown from 4 members of staff to the current establishment of 10 full time staff.

Katy has always had a keen interest in biomechanics after studying Physics and Maths at A-Level and being a keen sportswoman. Therefore, when HCA opened the research and outcomes centre at 31 Old Broad Street it was the perfect opportunity to pursue this speciality further.

Outside of work, Katy plays hockey for Sevenoaks in the National league and is their Ladies 1st team captain. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and Welsh Springer Spaniel.
