Rachel graduated from Brighton University in 2014 and went to work in trauma and orthopaedics at St George’s Hospital, where she was based in the operating theatres and quickly became a Lead Scrub Nurse. After a few years, Rachel decided that she wanted to look after the orthopaedic patient both before and after surgery and moved to London Bridge Hospital. Rachel became the main pain link nurse on the ward and has been trained in the most up-to-date technology and equipment. She has recently started a part-time Master’s degree in Orthopaedics at London City University.

Rachel is originally from the New Forest in Hampshire and likes long walks in the countryside in her spare time. She also enjoys reading, travelling and exercising.
