LSO Orthopaedic consultant, Mr Mark Phillips, is a leading expert on this technology and assisted the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) on writing their guidance for its use. The most well known device for delivering the ultrasound is called ‘Exogen’

There is good evidence that fractures heal quicker and more surely with the use of this product for 20 minutes a day (and it is painless and completely risk free!).
