I can not thank Mr McDermott enough for undertaking my meniscus repair surgery.

Other surgeons wanted to remove my meniscus as seems a sometimes ʼfast fixʼ approach however Mr McDermott was willing to try and save it at least and given that it is a crucial component of a working knee, I was so very grateful for his willingness to at least try. Thank you so very, very much. At the same time, he was very frank about the potential success rate, which I appreciated.

The surgery itself was very straightforward and nigh pain free and even though it was a long time without weight bearing, being six weeks, it was worth it if it can last hopefully years.  So far so good 4 months in.

I can not recommend Mr McDermott enough. He is clearly one of the most skilful knee surgeons around and someone, who is willing to go beyond. Thanks you so very, very much.
