Following an Arthroscopy in 2016 by Mr. McDermott, it was discovered that my failing Knee would eventually need replacement. My Knee was replaced in September 2023. Throughout this period, I took comfort in the knowledge that at any time I could call upon Mr McDermott and discuss any problems I was experiencing.

Not only is Mr. McDermott a brilliant and well-respected Knee surgeon he cares about his patients offering detailed advice and encouragement to produce the best possible outcome for his patients.  When the time was right my Conformis knee and hospital stay was promptly arranged. The procedure and hospital attention exceeded all expectations.

At the 12-week point I had a very strong fully functional Knee with minimum scaring. The amazing care by Mr. McDermott and his team has given me improved quality of life, I feel well in myself and look forward to a future of pain-free croquet and gardening.
