“I can’t thank Mr Chandrashekar enough for his care and expertise”

Last April, during a martial arts tournament, I suffered a complete rupture of my left Achilles tendon. Once the diagnosis was confirmed and the treatment protocol defined, I underwent minimally invasive (percutaneous) surgery at London Bridge Hospital to repair the tendon. This was successfully done by Mr Chandrashekar, who discussed and proposed this type of surgery to ensure my ruptured tendon healed well, with little complications or risk to surgical wound healing.

I cannot thank Mr Chandrashekar (and London Sports Orthopaedics) enough for his care and his expertise. Since the first day I met him, I felt confident and reassured that I would be able to get back to the same physical level I’d need to be able to practise sports the same way I used to. I’ve now nearly reached a 100% recovery. I’m still doing rehab, but recently had an ultrasound confirming that my Achilles is healing, which is very satisfying.
