Having had knee problems since my early forties, I had already seen four knee surgeons when I was referred to Mr Atkinson.

He listened, immediately understood exactly what my problems were and the issues they caused. He laid out clearly all the options available to me, giving me a precise understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of each procedure and the risks involved. Importantly, he gave me time to think before making a decision.

Mr Atkinson performed a knee osteotomy on my right knee and a full knee replacement on my left. Both operations were a success.  My mobility is back to normal and I’ve been able to resume exercising and gardening, as well as work, which involves standing for long periods.

Mr Atkinson’s care was exemplary and I would highly recommend him.
