Century achievement in custom-made knee surgery

Last week LSO’s Consultant Knee Surgeon Mr Ian McDermott performed his 100th Conformis custom-made knee replacement surgery at London Bridge Hospital.

Ian was joined by Mr Graham Cowther, the Conformis Managing Director and Stewart Fraser, the rep for London Bridge Hospital. Mr Sanjeev Agarwal, an Orthopaedic Surgeon from Cardiff who is participating in the hospital’s Surgical Visitation Program for training on how to implant a Conformis Knee, was also present for the team’s 100th case.

Custom-made knee replacements have made a positive difference for many patients. The common feedback is “it feels like my knee is normal”.
